2020 Air Show on the horizon

Posted on October 01, 2020 by Bard Wilmar

The 2020 Truckee Tahoe Air Show & Family Festival has been canceled.

And if you want to volunteer next year send an email to the Airshow Volunteers. It's s a great way to get behind the scenes access to aircraft, military personnel, and performers

The Erickson museum will send four WWII/Korean war performing aircraft: P51, Skyraider AD4, TBM Avenger and an SBD. Three of these aircraft will also be selling rides.

An A4 jet flown by Jared Flohr (they were static last year).

A T-33 flown by Greg Colyer (he flew our show a few years ago).

A C47 (was on static last year).

Returning from last year:

Sonex Jet flown by Tom Larkin

Extra 330C flown by Bob Freeman

Super Decathlon flown by Anna Sebinenko

In addition we are already starting to line up static aircraft and static displays.

I will continue reaching out with updates, but if you know for sure you will NOT be available to volunteer on the ramp at the this year’s air show, I would appreciate knowing as early as possible.

Kung Hei Fat Choy since we just started the Chinese New Year of the Rat.
